From Spain to an Unexpected Football Home
Born in Spain, Imaz developed through the competitive but often unforgiving structure of lower-league football. Like many technically gifted attacking players in the country, he faced the challenge of standing out in a system overflowing with talent. His early professional years were shaped by hard work rather than spotlight—learning the game, refining his versatility, and building resilience.
His move to Poland, and specifically to Jagiellonia Białystok, was not initially seen as a defining step. For many Spanish players, heading to Central or Eastern Europe represents a detour. For Imaz, it became a destination.
