The match took place at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade, where Barcelona dominated possession. They took the lead with a header from Íñigo Martínez, following a fantastic assist from Raphinha in the 13th minute.
Red Star's equalizer came from Congolese forward Silas in the 27th minute, but Barcelona quickly regained the advantage with Lewandowski’s goal in the 43rd minute, taking advantage of a rebound off the post from Raphinha’s shot.
The second half was a goal-fest for Barcelona, starting with Lewandowski completing his brace in the 53rd minute. Just two minutes later, Raphinha added another, putting Barcelona up 4-1 in the 55th minute.
But Barcelona wasn’t done. They netted a fifth goal through Fermín López in the 76th minute, with yet another assist from Jules Kounde. Red Star pulled one back in the 84th minute, but it ended 5-2 in favor of the Blaugrana.
