Belgium look to build on Egypt draw against Iran
Belgium return to action in Los Angeles on Sunday knowing victory over Iran would strengthen their position in Group G.
The Red Devils were far from their best in their opening match against Egypt, recovering from a goal down to earn a 1 -1 draw after Mohamed Hany turned into his own net.
Rudi Garcia's side enjoyed long spells of possession but struggled to turn their control into clear-cut opportunities, with Romelu Lukaku helping force the equaliser after coming off the bench.
With all four teams in Group G level on one point after the opening round of fixtures, Belgium will be eager to gain an early advantage before their final group match against New Zealand.
Garcia is unlikely to make sweeping changes, but Lukaku is pushing for a recall after making an impact from the bench against Egypt.
Iran, meanwhile, opened their campaign with a 2-2 draw against New Zealand, recovering from behind twice to claim a share of the points.
Goals from Ramin Rezaeian and Mohammad Mohebi ensured Amir Ghalenoei's side remained level with the rest of the group heading into the second round of fixtures.
Iran have never progressed beyond the group stage of a World Cup, but another positive result on Sunday would leave qualification firmly within their grasp ahead of a final-day meeting with Egypt.
Captain Mehdi Taremi is expected to lead the line once again as Iran look to build on their encouraging start to the tournament.
This will be the first senior international meeting between the two nations.
Belgium predicted lineup:

Iran predicted lineup:
