McGregor vs. Chandler Fight Canceled
The highly anticipated fight marking Conor McGregor's return to the UFC has been canceled due to an injury to the Irish fighter.
Dana White confirmed that the fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, scheduled for June 29 in Las Vegas, is off due to McGregor’s injury.
However, it's also been confirmed that the main event replacing McGregor's fight will feature Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka.
On another note, UFC journalist Ariel Helwani mentioned that the fight between the Irishman and the American could be rescheduled for the end of this year, but nothing is confirmed yet.
"McGregor vs. Chandler will be rescheduled for later this year. The fight was postponed because McGregor got injured right before last week's press conference in Dublin," Helwani said.
