Spain concluded the European Artistic Swimming Championships in Paris with an outstanding silver medal in the acrobatic team event, bringing its overall medal tally to eight.

Led by head coach Andrea Fuentes, the Spanish squad delivered its acclaimed Berghain-inspired routine, earning 242.2428 points to finish just behind Russia, which captured the gold medal with 244.8221.

Spain produced the highest artistic impression score in its history, receiving 100.2500 points, including six perfect 10s from the judges—outscoring Russia in that category. The final margin came down to the technical elements and degree of difficulty, where the Russian team held a slight edge.

The silver medal-winning routine featured Cristina Arámbula, Txell Ferré, Marina García Polo, Dennis González, Lilou Lluís, Sara Saldaña, Iris Tió, and Paula Ramírez, who delivered a flawless performance highlighted by exceptional synchronization and breathtaking acrobatics.

Italy secured the bronze medal, while Ukraine and Greece rounded out the top five.

The result further cements Spain's place among the world's elite artistic swimming nations and marks one of the country's finest performances in recent European Championship history.
