Young Africans wrapped up their CAF Champions League group-stage campaign with a 3-0 victory over JS Kabylie, a result that secured pride but not qualification for the quarterfinals.

The Tanzanian side finished third in Group A, just one point shy of advancing.

Depú shines with brace in decisive victory

Angolan striker Depú — full name Laurindo Dilson Maria Aurélio — delivered a standout performance. He opened the scoring in the 36th minute from the penalty spot in what had been a balanced contest.

Depú struck again in the 63rd minute, and three minutes later Chadrack Boka added the third to seal the result.

Young Africans concluded the group stage with 8 points from six matches, finishing one point behind AS FAR.

JS Kabylie ended bottom of the group with 3 points and no wins, while Al Ahly topped the standings unbeaten.
