Laporta Defends Pau Víctor and Dani Olmo's Registrations and Sends an Optimistic Message to Barcelona Fans
FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reiterated that the registrations of Pau Víctor and Dani Olmo were made in compliance with the regulations, following the decision of the Superior Council of Sports (CSD) to validate both players' licenses.
Laporta responds to LaLiga and denounces attempts to destabilize
In statements to the media after attending an event hosted by the Fundació Barça, Laporta reaffirmed that the club had followed all necessary requirements from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and LaLiga, refuting the recent criticisms.
"From the beginning, we said everything was done correctly. We followed all the regulations, and the registrations are still valid," assured the Barcelona president.
He also criticized the statement issued by LaLiga, just before the Copa del Rey semifinal against Atlético Madrid, claiming that Barcelona did not have the financial capacity to register Olmo and Pau Víctor.
"It's no coincidence that these reports come out at critical moments. We know how it works, and they are attempts to destabilize the team. Fortunately, the players and the coach were strong, they understood the situation, and they focused on the match," Laporta stated.
Optimism ahead of the Copa final and the decisive part of the season
After Hansi Flick's team secured their place in the Copa del Rey final, where they will face Real Madrid on April 26, Laporta took the opportunity to highlight the team's strong form and encouraged Barcelona supporters to enjoy the season.
"Our first team is competing at the highest level in all competitions and playing very high-quality football. We have an amazing coach who is managing the team brilliantly," he said.

In this regard, he referred to Flick's famous phrase, "dreaming is allowed," which the German coach used after their victory at the Metropolitano, urging Barcelona fans to continue dreaming of winning titles.
"Barcelona fans can dream, and dreams can come true. This season has been very intense, and we have overcome many challenges, but we continue to move forward," he added.
Finally, Laporta acknowledged that Barcelona has historically faced numerous challenges and that the current coach has already begun to feel these difficulties.
"Here, we always have to fight against everything and everyone. Flick has already asked me if this will continue to happen, and my answer is that I don't know, but what we do know is that we will keep fighting until the end," concluded the Barcelona president.
