Here’s How Mbappé’s First Day with Real Madrid Went
Kylian Mbappé enjoyed his first day of training with Real Madrid to the fullest, showing great chemistry with his new teammates. In this initial session, he was joined by the other six players who returned from their vacations: Dani Carvajal, Ferland Mendy, Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurélien Tchouaméni. Meanwhile, the rest of the team rested after the trip back from the United States.
Carlo Ancelotti now has all his players available. The return of the seven players who had an extended break due to their participation in the Euro 2024 and Copa América allows the Italian coach to start the countdown to be in peak condition for the Super Cup, which will be played in a week.
After completing the necessary medical check-ups, which Mbappé did on the day of his presentation in July following the Euro 2024, he trained for the first time at the Valdebebas sports complex with a constant smile. Dani Carvajal, one of the captains following the departures of Nacho Fernández and Toni Kroos, welcomed Mbappé to the locker room, with the help of his compatriots Mendy, Camavinga, and Tchouaméni, and joined in jokes and exercises with Bellingham.
Fitness coach Antonio Pintus, with Ancelotti present after the trip from Charlotte, designed a low-intensity first session, staying in the gym. The session included stretching, running, and lower body weight work before moving onto the field for Thursday’s session.
Austrian defender David Alaba also returned to the Madrid sports complex. Alaba continues his recovery from a knee injury, which will keep him sidelined for the first two months of the season.
After the gentle return of the seven players, with the rest of the team resting at home, Real Madrid resumes training and will begin preparations for their match against Atalanta, where they will have the chance to win the first of the seven titles they are aiming for this season.
