Lionel Messi had one of the most emotional reunions during this offseason after attending a meeting with his former teammates from the youth divisions of Newell's Old Boys.
The Argentine star is enjoying a well-deserved break, and before heading to the United States to prepare for a new season with Inter Miami, he spent time with some members of the 1987 category, with whom he took his first steps as a footballer at the age of six.

In the picture, Lionel can be seen at the age of six, holding a ball, unaware that he would go on to have a brilliant career at a global level, to the point of being considered one of the greatest footballers in history.
Messi heads to the United States for a new season
After enjoying a vacation in Argentina with his family, the Argentine star returned to the United States to prepare for a new season with Inter Miami. The Florida-based team has scheduled a friendly against Club América on January 19, with the team's official debut set for February 18 against Sporting Kansas City, as part of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
