Liverpool Has Its Eyes on Klopp's Replacement
Liverpool remains one of the best teams in the world and continues to fight for all titles, despite this being Jürgen Klopp's last season as the team's head coach.
With the departure of the German coach, a nine-year era of success for Liverpool will come to an end, during which they have become a prominent team not only in England but worldwide.
However, it's not just the head coach position that will be vacant, but also those of assistants Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz, development coach Vitor Matos, a key figure in discovering talents like Jones, and sporting director Jörg Schmadtke, who was responsible for shaping the future of the "Reds."
According to Marca, the Fenway Sports Group will seek the return of Michael Edwards, one of the key figures in building Klopp's exceptional Liverpool, and Richard Hughes as sporting director.
To succeed Klopp, Liverpool's great desire is Xabi Alonso. "I think I'm in the right place. What will happen in the future? I don't know, and at the moment, I'm not worried," said the Spanish coach, whose contract ends in 2026, and who, with his extraordinary Leverkusen, has captivated the world.
