Manchester City Announces The Signing of Brazilian Savinho
The 20-year-old footballer signed a five-year contract from Girona, where he was on loan last season from Troyes, part of the “City Group.” He described this period as "sensational," scoring 11 goals and providing ten assists in 41 matches.
"I am very happy and proud of myself and my family for helping me get here. I also have to thank God for giving me this opportunity to be here at Manchester City," Savinho said, referring to Manchester City as "the best team in the world" during his presentation with the English club.
Regarding his new coach, Pep Guardiola, he highlighted that "he is one of the best coaches of all time," and stated that he is "excited" to work with him and to help him "improve even more" as a player.
Savinho described himself as "a Brazilian who likes to play attacking football, be happy, and play joyful football." "My main characteristic is making the spectators get up from their seats," he added.
The player will be presented to the fans on August 4 in an event in Manchester, where he will meet the supporters and his new teammates.
