The game at Tüpraş Stadium had two very distinct halves.
During the first half, Galatasaray looked sharper and took the lead after a defensive mistake from Beşiktaş. The play ended with a precise cross from Gabriel Sara, which was finished by Victor Osimhen.
The second half belonged to Beşiktaş, who dominated possession and created chances but failed to score.
Their momentum increased even more when Leroy Sané was sent off in the 62nd minute after a stamp on Yilmaz. From that moment on, Galatasaray adopted a defensive approach to protect the advantage.

With this victory, Galatasaray remains top of the Süper Lig with 61 points, holding a seven-point lead over Fenerbahçe.
The result comes just days before their Champions League match against Liverpool.
