Jude Bellingham's Two-Match Ban Confirmed
The Appeals Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to reject the appeal filed by Real Madrid and has confirmed the two-match suspension imposed by the Disciplinary Committee on English player Jude Bellingham.
The midfielder of the Madrid team was sent off by referee Jesús Gil Manzano at the end of the league match against Valencia at Mestalla, after his goal was not validated due to the match being deemed over just during the action, which ended with a header into the net from a cross by Brahim Díaz that would have meant 2-3.
The Disciplinary Committee already dismissed the claims made by Real Madrid and imposed a two-match suspension for disrespectful or inconsiderate behavior towards referees, with an additional fine of 700 euros to the club and 600 euros to the player, in accordance with article 144 of the RFEF's Disciplinary Code.
Therefore, Bellingham will miss the matches against Celta at the Santiago Bernabéu this Sunday and against Osasuna at El Sadar the following Saturday.
