The bond between Ferrari and Mexico continues to strengthen, and Charles Leclerc doesn't miss the opportunity to show it. In the days leading up to the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix, the Monegasque driver has demonstrated his enthusiasm for Mexican culture, surprising everyone by dressing as a mariachi and attending a wrestling event.
Leclerc, accompanied by his teammate Carlos Sainz, immersed himself in Mexican culture by appearing at a wrestling event dressed in the traditional mariachi outfit. During the evening, he mingled with wrestlers and even joked around by mimicking some of the characteristic moves from the ring, clearly showing that he feels at ease in this festive environment.
To complete his look, Leclerc wore a custom mask in Ferrari's colors, earning him the nickname "Rampant Mariachi," a reference to the emblem of the "Prancing Horse," the iconic symbol of the Italian team.
At the official start of the 2024 Mexican GP activities at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Leclerc surprised once again by appearing in the mariachi outfit, on a day mostly dedicated to press conferences and track reconnaissance. With this gesture, the driver reaffirms the special connection that exists between the Ferrari team and the Mexican fans, who have welcomed him with open arms.
