Barcelona Could Lose This Player
Juventus is searching for a new forward following Arek Milik’s recent knee surgery, which will keep him sidelined for some time. As a result, Thiago Motta is exploring options to either replace or give rest to the team's star striker, Dusan Vlahovic.
According to calciomercato.it, one of the alternatives for the Vecchia Signora is Barcelona's Ferran Torres, a player they will aim to sign during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Undoubtedly, this represents a market opportunity, knowing that his value isn’t too high and that he hasn’t been getting much playing time under Barcelona's current manager, Hansi Flick. Additionally, Torres is a versatile player who can cover up to three attacking positions.
However, the deal appears complicated, as Barça is not keen on losing one of their forwards mid-season. Furthermore, whenever asked about a potential departure, Ferran has consistently emphasized that his priority is to succeed at Barcelona and that he has no intention of leaving for another club.
On top of that, Juventus would not guarantee him a spot in the starting lineup. The attacking trio of Kenan Yildiz, Nico González, and Dusan Vlahović has been crucial to Thiago Motta’s strong start to the season, making it unlikely that any of them will be displaced.
