PSG Unveils World-Class Sports Complex
"The economic impact of the new campus in the Paris region is estimated at 243 million euros for the 2023-2024 season," according to the Center for Sports Law and Economics (CDES).
This Thursday, PSG officially inaugurated its state-of-the-art sports complex, the Paris Saint-Germain Campus, located in Poissy, a town west of Paris, where all activities for its professional and youth teams will be centralized.
The facility, situated 25 minutes from the Parc des Princes, spans 59 hectares and features 150,000 square meters of outdoor space, along with a variety of indoor facilities.
The project was designed to centralize the club's sporting activities and house both its youth teams and professional men's and women's squads.
"For the first time, all PSG teams will share a single space, strengthening cohesion and development within the club," the club stated in a press release.
The campus boasts three training fields exclusive to the men's first team, one for the women's team, six fields for youth categories, a stadium with a 500-spectator capacity, therapeutic pools, and a hydrotherapy area.
Additionally, the complex includes classrooms, a 230-seat amphitheater, a restaurant, study and recreational areas, 131 rooms for youth players living on campus, and 43 rooms for the professional team.
The facility, which required an investment of nearly 300 million euros, was entirely funded by the club.
PSG also announced its commitment to creating a positive social impact through the 'PSG For Communities' program, aimed at providing resources and developing initiatives to support underprivileged youth.
