Hansi Flick Calls Out Barcelona's Lack of Effort
Barcelona's German coach, Hansi Flick, didn’t hold back after the team’s disappointing 2-2 draw at Balaídos, where Celta de Vigo clawed back from a 0-2 deficit in the final minutes. "If you don’t play at 100%, you can’t win. It’s as simple as that,” Flick remarked post-match.
Dismissing external factors, he added, “The wind is no excuse. You have to stay focused for the entire game. Sometimes, what we do might look easy, but it’s not. We need to bounce back and put this behind us.”
Flick pointed to key moments like Casadó’s red card and Jules Koundé’s error leading to Celta’s first goal, describing them as “consequences” of the team’s overall poor performance in Vigo.
“We made too many mistakes. It was a bad game all around. The players aren’t happy either because they know they can perform much better. We’ll rise together as a team,” Flick concluded, determined to turn things around.
