Palmeiras Wants to 'Steal' a Talent from Barcelona to Win the Libertadores.
Vitor Roque wants to return to Brazil and has reportedly requested to leave Betis
Since winning the title in 2020 and 2021, Palmeiras has not won the Copa Libertadores again… while their best talents keep getting stolen. In the summer, Endrick moved to Real Madrid, and in the coming months, ‘Messinho’ will head to Chelsea. For this reason, Palmeiras wants to make a strong statement and bring a young talent from Barcelona back to Brazil.

Vitor Roque's situation at Betis
This talent is Vitor Roque, who arrived in Spain a year ago to join Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense for 30 million euros. The largest transfer in the history of the Brazilian club, surpassing Renan Lodi's move to Atlético de Madrid.
However, not everything went as Vitor Roque expected, and last summer he was loaned out to Betis, where his situation has not improved either. In fact, he has scored only one goal in the last 10 matches and has been a substitute in the last three after the arrival of ‘Cucho Hernández’. For this reason, according to ‘Info Real Betis’, the Brazilian has reportedly asked to return to Brazil.
Barcelona knows nothing about it
Palmeiras wants to turn him into their new franchise player and is willing to offer him the highest salary on the team, according to information from ‘Bolavip’. The operation, however, doesn't seem like it will happen. At least not before the transfer window closes in Brazil, as Betis doesn’t want to easily part with one of their players.
However, if he does leave, Betis would want compensation… even if they don't execute the option to buy him for 25 million euros and keep 80% of Vitor Roque's rights. Barcelona would be willing to negotiate a transfer. However, ‘Sport’ reports that they are not aware of this move.
