PSG's Response to Barcelona After Eliminating Them
The chronicle of an announced comeback was what FC Barcelona experienced after heating up the second leg match with some very direct promotional material aimed at PSG, where they boasted an advantage that "Les Parisiens" managed to completely overcome by winning 4-6 and securing their spot in the semifinals, thus having the opportunity to elegantly strike back at Barcelona.
Barcelona posted a video showing a hot air balloon with the slogan "Sempre Barça" floating next to the Eiffel Tower before the game they won. Later, they created an animation with the Mona Lisa wearing Barcelona's jersey, referencing the iconic Parisian artwork.
Following the comeback, PSG had the chance to respond to these "attacks" and posted an image of the fallen Blaugrana hot air balloon, along with a video showing the Mona Lisa wearing Barcelona's jersey, and beside it, an even larger painting of "The Battle of Montjuic," where Marquinhos is seen celebrating during "Les Parisiens" victory.
Football provides revenge, and PSG experienced one of the sweetest in recent football history.
